Try Sailing & Learn to Sail at TrimpleyBeginners (Adults, kids - in fact the whole family) can take a 'Learn to Sail' or a 'Taste of Sailing' course at Trimpley. Courses are held each year in the spring and autumn. The courses for 2005 are planned for the Autumn. Please visit this page again for details of the 2005 courses. The details will be shown below. Adults learn in GP14s, kids in Optimists. There are also regular Sunday morning training sessions for improvers who can sail but need a little more practice. Optimist training for the kids is held on Saturday mornings - details of this year's courses will be posted here when finalised soon. In addition to the Learn to Sail sessions, TSC also run courses on the finer points of sailing such as knots, sail trim, race tactics, race starting and boat tuning. Don't worry if you can't get to the sessions or missed the formal sessions this year - just come along and see us. We always welcome newcomers wanting to give it a try. The first session is an initial briefing and will give an overview of the course and will include things like requirements (e.g. the best clothing to wear) and previous experience required (i.e. none).

The old saying goes "If you can sail at Trimpley you can sail anywhere". Some may also add " ...and anything".
